It's almost September already, and I am waiting to curl up on the sofa in cozy knitwear and leaving the wrapped up in a wool scarf that's gonna protect me from the cold, bad world. Autumn's the time of jumpers, jeans, jackets, hats and ankle boots - all my favourite things! I also for some reason love black tights. They make your legs look way better. ( They also make wearing summery dresses way harder, as not that many bright and light summery colours go well with them.)
I am also waiting for school to start - I got into Helsinki Design School and I am going to study at two programmes. I am taking a half-year course on becoming a Fashion Editor and also studying to be a Fashion Designer. :) I am so excited! Hopefully I'll be working on something similiar within a few years. This is the time to make contacts!
Probably many of you are also starting your studies and having a new start. I am willing to give you the fall fashion boost you may need - at least I find any fashion inspiration always useful - and do an inspiration post for once. Enjoy!
I do not own any of the pictures.
Expect a part 2 soon!

NEW BUYS
All H&M.
Been wanting the hat and the sunnies for a long time now and wow, they were on sale this time so I had to buy them now! I think these three could go well together as well. I think I'll wear the top with scruffy denim shorts, black ankle/ biker boots, these round sunglasses and a fringed bag. The hat goes well with some more dramatic looks and simple outfits like dresses and ankle boots and stuff.

STRIPEY PANTS!
Whole outfit, H&M.
Bought these stripey pants from H&M's children's department! I just suddenly decided that I want to have stripey pants and they were the only ones available ( I wanted to buy the ladies' ones that have a bit thicker stripes in them but there weren't any), so I tried these on and they looked kinda cool. And now they look even cooler!:) The first outfit idea I came up with was teaming them up with this bright-coloured beanie, college sweater and black platfrom sneakers. I like this outfit so much I'm a bit sad that I'm just sitting home all night tonight and trying to work on my art-school application assignments :(
How do you like it? What do you like about the stripey pants -trend this spring?

Maxi&Cropped
So here's today's outfit :) I'm wearing my H&M maxi dress and an H&M crop top to make it look more like a maxi skirt. Added some details, such as a statement necklace from Seppälä and a vintage trilby. My shoes are basic black H&M plimsoles. I'm going to work after this, have work from four to eight, and I am responsible for the sales area today...The outfit is very comfortable and summery but I'm not gonna freeze if the weather turns colder by the time I get home. So that's good.
I have another idea for the blog that I am at the moment considering. I was talking about my expectations for the success of my blog and my hopes about making a breakthrough with it, and my boyfriend who happens to know a lot about these things mentioned that a lot of people make it through Youtube and video blogging. I am now really wondering if I should give it a try. I just feel a bit awkward recording myself and talking to a camera, especially if it's gonna go to the Internet! I know having a proper Youtube account and "vlogging" might have quite an impact, but I am also worried about embarassing myself completely. What do you think? Should I give it a try? I'd appreciate YOUR OPINION. Thanks xx

BARGAINS
My fashion finds from a street market in Spain (will upload photos later in another post): A straw trilby for 6 euros and THE TOTAL BARGAIN - black brogues, last ones left, exactly my size (been looking for good brogues for about 2 years now, huh) 3 EUROS! That's some mad shit happening.
