Hello guys! I have a super awesome outfit for you today. I really like the feminine-VS-boyish -combo. I kept the colours simple, but I think that with these pieces you don't need to try hard to keep it interesting!

SCHOOL GIRL SKIRTS PART II

So I wrote a post about trying to find the perfect school girl skirt. Been meaning to tell you that I did find one after all, and guess where - H&M! I don't have pictures about the skirt alone, but I do have a couple of outfit pictures that you may have also seen me posting on my Instagram page. I will try and photograph it alone some time.

 I wore this outfit on New Year's Eve. I was planning to change to something fancier but I had a little strappy top underneath the sweatshirt so the outfit went along to 2014 with me! So here you can see the perfect colour and length. It was the best one yet and the best one I could get!

 This one was last week. I wore the skirt with a chunky polo knit and Chelsea boots, to make it cozy and warm. I kinda like the contrast of the overly girly skirt and the oversized sweater. I like to break the rules a bit, and I know that this isn't the most flattering combo for your waist - but maybe that's exactly why I like it.

I am really happy with this buy, and can't wait to make new combos with it. I thinking of Dr. Martens, over-knee socks and a rock chic top. Stay tuned!

LATE LATE SUMMER POSTS

I don't know where I've been all summer, but certainly it's not here. I'm sorry. I will post my summer outfits from now on as I haven't had time to do that earlier. I am truly sorry. I'm trying to get my ass back here more often.

Here's what I threw on yesterday. Been wearing trackie bottoms for the last few days and then a nice black and white outfit but I ruined my pants with tomato soup at work before I could even take photos :( Did a bit of boho chic here, and also clashed prints. I am not really used to doing it but I think it didn't look that bad! What do you think?

This rapper-meets-falpper look was my first one worn to work after my holiday! woo. What do you think about this idea? I was a bit unsure about the cap, because I didn't know if it was really proper to be worn at work but I decided not to care and go with the feeling I had! And my friends complimented me about it! So, success. Not because of other people liked it, but because I felt good in this badass outfit. Sorry, I'm just babbling weirdly. Pretty distracted.

FRIDAY'S OUTFIT: NAUTICAL STRIPES WITH GREY JERSEY AND DENIM

 

Sorry for not keeping my promise... So, I left to the countryside with my friends from high school. One of my friends has a cottage there so we went to spend the weekend there. We had a lot of fun, went fishing (without getting any fish, but my boyfriend got one by accident before the fishing trip), played board games and drinking games, watched silly TV shows, ate ate ate, went to sauna and swam in the freezing lake! I spent the weekend in my trackie bottoms so you can probably guess that I have no outfits to show you. This is the only one and it's all I've got. 

Today I am back to work, so you'll be seeing more outfits from now on because going to work requires dressing up, obviously :D

HEAR ME ROAR

Hello friends! Sorry for not posting in a while. Had the job interview, don't know the results yet but I have my fingers crossed :) I went for a cruise to Tallinn, Estonia with my work mates and I shopped pretty hard - almost missed the ship back to Helsinki! I'll show you the rest of the stuff later but you can see one of my purchases here : I bought the panther sweater from Pull & Bear in Tallinn. We don't have Pull&Bear here in Finland and I've always shopped there on my summer holidays in Spain so it brings good memories, so, long story short, I like the shop very much.

Back to the most important thing, the outfit. I seem to be very keen on the sporty/rock chic mix at the moment and I wear this skirt a lot these days, and usually with a sweater. This time was no exception. This one is just a little less sporty. I loved wearing all this. Now, back to hoodies and leggings and the assignments for the fashion schools. Sigh. I think I'm pretty hopeless with the painting and it looks like the assignments were made by a 7-year-old. So I am not counting on going back to school!

STRIPEY PANTS!

Bought these stripey pants from H&M's children's department! I just suddenly decided that I want to have stripey pants and they were the only ones available ( I wanted to buy the ladies' ones that have a bit thicker stripes in them but there weren't any), so I tried these on and they looked kinda cool. And now they look even cooler!:) The first outfit idea I came up with was teaming them up with this bright-coloured beanie, college sweater and black platfrom sneakers. I like this outfit so much I'm a bit sad that I'm just sitting home all night tonight and trying to work on my art-school application assignments :(

It's a lovely sunny day outside! I'm having a day off so I finally had time to take proper photos and do a real blog post. Felt like wearing something bright so I threw on a bright yellow t-shirt with my new black&white print pants. OOH LA

An outfit I'm gonna wear this weekend! I've got to squeeze in a lot of changing clothes - it's gonna be a busy one! Friday: Seeing a friend for a coffee, then a night out with friends. Saturday: a nice work event, kind of a party with our staff, then clubbing with a friend ( I won a free entry to a club I've always wanted to go!). Sunday: Boyfriend's birthday, so gonna spend a nice day with him :)
