I think these models at J.Crew are the embodiment of preppy chic. I love this photo! I have (for some unknown reason) been interested in all this preppy chic stuff and I'm loving all the lovely crisp blouse-knit-smart pants -combos at the moment. It's weird, because my signature style has usually been more about all that biker/rock chic with a scruffy edge from time to time. Maybe this is a good change. Maybe I'll become a smart casual business woman someday. A classy Chanel lady or something. Who knows.

Today's outfit. Today I'm going for the preppy look with brogues, knit and a pastel shirt. The jeans and bag are there to give the outfit a bit of a rock chic edge. It's a rainy day here, so denim shorts and summery dresses are a no go :(  What do you think of this look?
