PARTY SHOES ON

Heels, 55€, Ellos.
                                                                Heels, 55€, Ellos.

Ordered these beauties from Ellos...I know I really couldn't afford all this shoes shopping, but I am anyway paying their bill every month so a few euros more can't kill me. And, as they say, life's short, buy the shoes!
I am not much of a party goer, but I am trying to wear more heels this summer - even though downtown Helsinki is not the best place to wear them! I used to wear super high heels in high school, and that was doable because all I had to do was to sit around all day, so my legs didn't die during the day. Now that I am working at a clothing shop and have to stand and run around all day, wearing heels is not the comfiest option. The only heels I've managed to wear have been Jeffrey Campbell's Lita's - even after 8 hours of walking your feet are not sore, just a bit tired at worst. Now that I am having my internship at R/H I can probably wear more heels as I also do stuff that don't require as much standing and walking around, more like big
brains and fast thinking! At least on office days!

Can't wait to try these on and not to mention, can't wait to WEAR THEM! Oh, Spring, hurry up!

MY LOVE FOR PREPPY CHIC

J.Crew
I think these models at J.Crew are the embodiment of preppy chic. I love this photo! I have (for some unknown reason) been interested in all this preppy chic stuff and I'm loving all the lovely crisp blouse-knit-smart pants -combos at the moment. It's weird, because my signature style has usually been more about all that biker/rock chic with a scruffy edge from time to time. Maybe this is a good change. Maybe I'll become a smart casual business woman someday. A classy Chanel lady or something. Who knows.

SHOULD I SPEND 470€?

...to these babies? I think they might very well be the perfect autumn booties... But they are maybe a bit too much alike with my Jeffrey Campbell's, because of the brown heel and platform... I at least TRY not to buy too similiar stuff, it gets too expensive. And in the end of the day I have more choice ;)

Ankle boots, Marc By Marc Jacobs, 470€, NINA'S.

New buys!

Mint studded top, Zara

This is the backside of the top. At the front it's a basic black top...I just love the back. I'll post better photos when I'm wearing it for the first time! Cut back top, Zara

A cool skeleton top. Been drooling after all kinds of skeleton shirts and  finally got mine! Skeleton top, Zara.

Taupe pumps with snake print heels and platform. Ois, 49,95

All the tops are from Zara. I felt like I was in desperate need of new shirts and decided to give these ones a try. After trying them on, I was in love and bought them all straight away! Can't wait to show you all the cool outfits I can create around these pieces ;) The heels were Ois and I bought them from Aleksi 13. I got 40% off and they were actually only 29.95 euros. Yay! I think they might look gorgeous with jeans and a crisp white blouse and a blazer or with simple and pretty summer dresses. These are no work shoes though :(

Awesome Louboutins

These Louboutin heels are SO BEAUTIFUL! I bet they'd look amazing with the simplest outfits. They're real Cinderella-shoes. I'm a proud owner of a pair of Louboutins myself, and I have been very content with the purchase. They fit me perfectly, and I've never had one single blister, not even when I wore them at my Old's Dance ball. I'd love to have these beauties in my shoe collection! Maybe one day...
