Went shopping yesterday and bought some really nice stuff.  A dark blue "silk" blouse from H&M Trend, and a nice flannel shirt from Monki.I also FINALLY found the perfect maxi skirt from Zara!  Can't photograph them right now because (typically) I already messed the silk top with food and there's a nice, 10cm long grease stain at the chest. Nice. So I'll wash it and then photograph them all together... Patience ;)

Preppy chic with an edge

 

Today's outfit. Today I'm going for the preppy look with brogues, knit and a pastel shirt. The jeans and bag are there to give the outfit a bit of a rock chic edge. It's a rainy day here, so denim shorts and summery dresses are a no go :(  What do you think of this look?

A GREAT NEW FINNISH FASHION MAGAZINE

COSTUME. The first ever FINNISH fashion magazine that really deserves to be called a fashion mag. It's filled with interesting and fresh articles and there are loads of ideas and tips to try. I love it so much I'm considering ordering it so that  I'd get that fresh new mag straight into my mailbox every month. So, all my Finnish readers, buy it and enjoy.












 (Norway and Denmark also have their own Costume, for those who are interested.)

THE NELLY PACKAGE FINALLY ARRIVED

So, after waiting for a MONTH I finally got my order from Nelly.com. Or, actually, half of it. I had ordered 3 pairs of beautiful shoes and got NONE of them. And a leopard cross tee is also missing, and the document says it's going to be delivered later. Nice. I also had  ordered a pair of simple flat ankle boots for fall, but because I got an email saying they were out of stock, I bought identical ones from Skopunkten. Now they are apparently also going to be delivered later. GRRRRR! So annoying. 

So, unfortunately, no matter how much I love the clothing and accessories nelly.com has to offer, I can't recommend buying stuff there. Of course it's worth a try, but if you're planning to get your order in time for some certain occasion, you might as well forget it. 

Anyway, now that the items are here, I might aswell introduce them. So here we go!

PUT ON MASCARA AND YOUR PARTY DRESS

Well, hello! After a well-rested night I finally have some energy to give you another post.

So I'm celebrating my friend's 20th birthday tonight :) Bought a new dress recently, and thought I'd wear it for this occasion.

Do any of you remember this picture of Rochelle Wiseman? I may have used it in one of my fashion inspiration posts. My new dress is quite similiar! Inspired by this, I thought I'd simply wear it and some heels and a leather jacket.

I am not sure if I'm a bit overdressed in this outfit, but I'd REALLY like to dress up for the first time in a million years! ;) There's a bit of a dilemma though, because I got some AMAZING neon pink peep-toe pumps from Spain earlier this summer and I have never worn them yet (because I've been mostly working, and heels are not a good option for such a job) and I'd really like to. Hmmmm... When I figure something out, I'll tell you and I WILL do an outfit post, latest tomorrow! And if you want to have a sneak peek, check my lookbook tonight!

SUSHI NIGHT IN MY FLORAL PANTS

 

So here are some photos from today. Had a lovely night with the lovely Jasmina, eating sushi and drinking some vinho verde. Here are also the long hesitated outfit photos. So this is what I wore.

I teamed the pants up with a basic H&M college sweater and a white tank top peeking out underneath. I completed the look with my new burgundy pumps and  handbag, and my dear watch of course. What do you think?

NEW BUYS...again

Bought all this today!

The first four photos are of a cool hair accessory. You make a ponytail (or a braid etc.) and put the gold thing around the band.I think it looks pretty great! Makes the dull ponytail a bit fancier/edgier of however you see it. I was pretty sure my hair wouldn't fit inside the golden part because my hair is so thick and big but it did, after a bit of pushing and tucking it in. I am pleasantly surprised! Think I'm going to buy the silver one too. So this is what it looks like:

 

This is my new sweater :) It's quite short and it's got some kind of a shiny wax coating. The photo makes it look like t was coral pink, but actually, it's orange. Yay, loving it!

 And the leopard printed mullet skirt... I HAD to get this

 I had my eye on these jeans for a while and now I finally tried them on - and ended up buying them. They're very strechy, almost like jeggings, not really sure if they are though.

 Here are some new rings. It's a pack of three, and 2 of them are silver and one is golden. Quite funny, I just read a blogger giving a tip to buy piping connectors from a hardware store and wear them as rings, and these happen too look a bit like those! Maybe I should give her a tip.

These are pics of my new chunky cuff. In the first picture you can also see my new watch...My family brought it for me from Spain. I love it, even though it's no Michael Kors ;)
